Thanks gaz1 you are a bit far away, & we are sure it is a scam but a tool & cutter grinder was offered for sale locally locally but when we made enquiry the lady said she had moved to Elgin, it was a good price but they say their carrier wont accept CC over the phone & will only use a Pay Safe card voucher payment
Sure it is a scam & would be interested to know if the person exists at the address we have

You can interrogate the electoral roll via 192.com, it's not necessarily up to date though.

i do not know of a scottish courror that will not accept card payment how big is this i can suggest courours that can help you cheapest is to use local rates better than national

Have you used Google maps to have a look at the address on the listing? Not infallible but it might give you an idea of the property - whether it exists, if it's an industrial business place, if it's a good looking, well set up place etc...

Obviously don't give your card details, or use any payment method where your money vanishes to Africa and other foreign lands, otherwise......

no offence but id be looking to buy there and then with local member have collected and sent in one shot

mine was ebay i took a risk knowing paypal would help in end through ebay buy

Tell them you have a mate who lives local to Elgin & ask if they can call to view the item. If the seller starts giving excuses about viewing it's a scam!
