Hello all
Apologies if this in the wrong place but the senior moments are coming thick and fast these days
The haulage company I drive for have recently diversified from general haulage into abnormal loads and I'm now driving a splendidly shiny eight-wheeled rigid wagon fitted with a 60 ton/metre Hiab. The bulk of my work is moving cabins, containers and modular buildings all over the country, and most of them are over-width. Because of this, I'm legally required to fit any overhang with marker boards dispalying red and white chevrons. I've bought some "roll-up" markers made from heavy duty nylon sheet which have eyelets at the corners but as most of the loads are made of steel, there's nowhere to tie them on. Can any of you good fellows point me in the direction of magnet purveyors? What I'm after is either round magnets 2 or 3 inch-ish in diameter, or strip magnets about 1 inch wide by 8-ish long. It doesn't need anything fancy, just something strong enough to hold at speed, (I have 2 magnetic flashing beacons on my back bumper bar which are rated at 50 mph max which hold okay, my normal running speed is 53 mph).
Thanks in advance.
Martyn.
