Andrew,I am in the process of going the other way 7-10 as the new Mastercam software is 64 bit. I have a computer running Windows 7 32 bit that I was going to strip everything out and rebuild another Windows 10 computer into the case using everything my son chucked out of his computer recently. Yours to swop for an empty tower case...
Otherwise,if you have identical computers,you could upgrade to ssd drives and just clone your good working one. Ssd hard drives are definitely the way to go. Makes them boot up so much quicker.

Just built a PC for the missus as her laptop is full of junk and needs rebuilding but she's in the middle of a college course and doesn't want to be without. I could have bought a no name Chinese pre-built i7 mini PC with 8Gb RAM, 128G SSD and win10 pro for not much more than 400 quid but opted for an i5 Intel NUC, the processor is a later generation and faster than the older i7 processors in the cheapies and you know it's going to behave.
It cost a little bit more HW wise, but it has 16Gb and a 256Gb NVMe SSD. Absolutely flies, not too noisy on high loads either. She does a bit of photoshop etc. hence the higher spec for a simple desktop. I did save a little on the Win10 pro license though....

KMS Pico won't run using the browser that Win7 loads . . argh!
If I try and register using the newly loaded Win7 system the CAPTCHA dialogue isn't displayed so it fails.
If I try and register on my other machine the CAPTCHA shows but it says that I've been detected as a robot . . . argh . . .

I have bought unused product activation keys on Ebay lots of times and I have yet to have one fail, look at the feed back for the item you are buying.
Last week I formatted an old laptop for a friend and after that the office suite wouldn't work, we had no key or the original disk and you needed the key to download Office 2013 from MS, I bought a key on ebay for £5 odd that came with a link to the download site. It worked and activated seamlessly, this was an older 2013 version of office.

I paid £3 for the Win 10 pro license key off ebay. By the time I had the SSD and memory in the PC and used microsoft's tool to create the bootable USB drive, the key arrived and from unpacking the box to finishing installing the OS including updates was about 2 hours. The key registered with MS no bother.
But sadly that's not 32 bit

there is a few versions out there i have both 32 and 64
also winborg xps up to sp3
for those with older pcs and need older versions should consider the other versions

My Win7 is now ACTIVATED thanks to a bit of software Andy (Windy Miller) pointed me to - thank you so much Andy.
Now I just need t o stop McAfee popping up (an artifact from one of t he KMS sites I visited, and re-build the system back to having all the application I had previously.
As I say, many thanks to Andy, but also everyone else who joined in to solve my issue - and it's supposed to be a welding forum - nah . . . a lot more than that !

Glad you’re sorted now Andrew! Might be an idea to copy the toolkit and zip it up. Some AV software gets shirty about it and quarantines it. They Can’t see inside a zip file tho!
