looking for a steel oil filter cannister,

I need to fabricate a pair of UJ covers for my 1911-12 Matchless cyclecar, I thought they looked a lot like the 6 spare Mk2 Jaguar oil filter cannisters I kept just in case, well they do but the Jag items are too small, has anyone got any tractor, lorry tank cannisters laying around? 3 1/2" od seems to be the size.

I have some disposable test gas cylinders that are about 3 1/2 inch od. Can measure properly tomorrow... some are about 3mm which wall some are thinner

Thanks for the offers, may be going with plan C as the propshaft joints are badly worn, may fit a modern UJ propshaft or CV joints, and fit leather gaiters to hide the joints,
