Looking for a Pulse / Double Pulse Mig, single phase 250A +

Hi All,
I've posted something similar to this before, ended up going with a Pulse mig from Warrior Welders which has done relatively ok, but 2 of them have failed under warranty and due to this they have stopped making them. I now only have the option to get a non pulse standard mig as a replacement which I have agreed to which will be handy to have as a backup, but looking at buying a new pulse mig at present.

What i would like ideally is a unit with a seperate wire feed but apart from Oxford once they release their new Inverter pulse mig next year, there is little else on the market at the moment.

I have got a price for a Cebora Synstar 250M which is a good price for what it is.

Another option i am looking into is two machines from HTP America / STEL which are the HTP Revolution 2500, and the HTP Pro Pulse 300 which are both single phase, the revolution machine actually looks very good with it's capabilities, from pulse mig to AC/DC tig etc.

Is there anything else apart from the units mentioned above anyone would reccomend?

I have a large 200A split phase supply, so have enough power available to power a large single phase Mig.

There are other options available in the USA from Lincoln and Miller which are single phase up to 400a, but they are extremely expensive so not really considering them as options due to that.

The other potential option i would consider would be a used Oxford Pulse Mig preferably one with a seperate wire feeder if anyone had one they were interested in selling. Not seen any on any of the for sale sites i keep an eye on.

I have a cebora pulse that I may consider selling , it comes with genuine push pull torch for ali . I got it from a very high end car dealership it was part of the deal they bought it to do proper repairs on the make they were selling . I managed to buy it as they were changing car brand and with that needed to buy what they wanted. Obviously if of interest I will list under sales section as per rules. without checking I think its model 2035.

Have you considered ewm, i've run a dozen or so of them in fab shops albeit 3 phase units,really reliable i found, I see these days they have some tidy small pulsed migs that seem reasonably priced.

Have you considered ewm, i've run a dozen or so of them in fab shops albeit 3 phase units,really reliable i found, I see these days they have some tidy small pulsed migs that seem reasonably priced.

I've looked at them, but the single phase only goes to 200a, and only single pulse, so a lot of outside corners and double pulse is a great addition for those.

I had a synstar 250m new and it went down with a fault inside warranty I took credit back, no factory reset without getting it plugged in and it only went to 200 amp in pulse, 250 In standard alright. I wouldn’t recommend. I’m to waiting on a big single phase Oxford next year. If you contact hucol rotary converters they build you a rotary converter with a welding switch I just done that and I’m running a second hand fronius tps2700i with it

top choice would be htp stel. fronius would be good but they dont have any 240 single phase pulse machines

Think Paton do a 240v 250A power supply that allows a separate wire feed. But I think it's only single pulse (not entirely sure).

Just check any machine you want to import will run on a 50hz supply as the usa is 60hz

To me Ceboras are the worst machines ever , good enough only if you need to weld low thickness materials , from 1 to 6 mm more or less .
Even bigger Ceboras like Synstar 400 or 500 are pure garbage to me , not reliable , low penetration force even on high amperage , after long periods of heavy duty cycles you can feel that the inverter loses slowly power .

We run only Fronius pulsed machines in our shop .

Have a try with Stel or Miller .
