Hi everyone.
I´m new here. I used to weld with MMA and now I want to jump to MIG welding to use it in steel and aluminum.
I´m thinking in a 160Amps with regulation on wire speed and current. I know there are more advanced machines with voltage regulation or IGBT technology, but they are more expensive and I´m not professional. I´m going to use them for hobby.
What carachteristics must it have to that kind of use? For example, I read about the spool gun, but I think is for professional use. Or is common that the aluminum wire jams up in the hose?
Thank you
