My wee 107 is the worlds tinnyest thing ever ,,, I did the boot with flashband , and the inside of the doors with bubble wrap , the rear quarters I just filled with expanding foam ,, total spend about thirty quid , and a great job for getting rid of road noise without adding too much weight ,,, my 130 I used roadkill in some places and flashband in others ,,, and it didnt make much of a change at all ,, but it wasnt too bad to start with

the company used to go bankrupt fairly often ,,, looks like they are up again at the moment ,,, I had 4 of them and ran them as a center cluster for dance events ,,,

wonder what a bag of actual flour would do ,,, if its all I had id do a small mix and see ,,, no harm in trying .

You can make your own "sugru" which is a concoction of cornflour starch and silicon. I use it for making moulds or rubbery items, gaskets etc.

It does not set rock hard but sticks like silicon would to whatever surface it is applied. Hit or miss for sticking well to unspecified plastics but it has plenty of mass and good damping characteristics and of course, super cheap.

Personally I would still go with pitch as I said earlier but this thread seems to be dragging on so...

How about a self adhesive sound deadening pad.
obviosly not where the speaker ports are , cut out like you did with the glassfibre .

It’s usual to try and deaden with something ‘soft’ like a ‘constrained layer mass damping material’ which is the black sticky stuff with foil on it. That’s used widely in automotive and audio applications.
