Afraid if it's an engineering company, I don't agree he was a jobsworth. My first full time engineering job was with a small family owned company - all personal measuring gear along those lines was checked against our standard, and given a suitably colour coded sticker to show it had been checked - I can't remember the frequency of checks - a few times a year.We had a jobsworth at one place that wanted all the rules & tape measures calibrated before we could measure anything job related, we got round the problem by using these stickers![]()

Apart from the size of the "Stainless Steel" font they could be twins, same factory different name on the packet...?The Duratool ones turned up today. They're actually a pretty close match. I can definitely work with those. Main difference is slightly thinner metal, & not quite as rigid. Neither is an issue. Old & new pictured.
