Hi did you find a pitman shaft for the B23? I think they are made of hickory
Kramp do a universal shaft which is 900mm mine measures 910mm
The kramp part is U900m costs £20 with carriage

Welcome aboard , but I suspect the OP would have sourced or made a replacement in the intervening 3 1/2 years.

The pitmans are ash. When I worked for R Cripps as apprentice/improver one of my winter jobs many moons ago was to make a stock of them for IH mowers.

I even had to make my own tools to do the job. I forged my draw knife from a broken series 2 Land Rover rear spring, my 90* angle Froe was forged from an old worn out farriers rasp and my straight froe was forged from a broken Russian UAZ 1 Ton pick up rear spring.
