Loctite grades

I was wondering if anyone knows the difference between Loctite 242 and 243?
They look as if they might be the same but there must be a difference for Loctite to allocate 2 grades. My confusion isn't helped by the amount of fake product out there.

Google says;

Loctite 242 and 243 are both medium-strength blue threadlockers, but Loctite 243 is a superior, upgraded version of 242, offering better oil tolerance (cures on slightly contaminated parts), wider temperature range (up to 180°C vs 150°C), and higher breakaway torque, making 243 more versatile and generally recommended unless 242 is specifically required by older specs, as 243 performs better in most modern applications, even on plated fasteners without primer.

So it looks like 243 is just a more modern version

So it looks like 243 is just a more modern version

In Australia, 242 is not listed as a product. 243 is.
