Following an incident at a nuclear power station where the end of a cable tie couldn’t be accounted for resulting in a couple of days strip down and rebuild to find it, the only cable ties now allowed to be used are brightly coloured and slightly radioactive. Not radioactive enough or of a wavelength that will harm you,but enough that you can scan for them in the event of the tails not adding up with the number used…The amount of junk left behind from production was always surprising to me
