The rental is under half what you're currently paying, and like I said no collection fee.

But if you're going through a lot of cylinders that saving will be wiped out in short order.

See what the accounts people say, despite what they say they do have some leeway on pricing - I've known people get the collection fee knocked off (taken off cylinder price, because they have to charge collection ) as well as discounted rental and refill.

If you're doing lots, you've got a pretty good "I'm thinking of going elsewhere" bargaining chip.

Lots depends on what you consider lots I suppose. Compared to a hobby guy then yes, compared to a fabrication place with a few welders then no.

Well I was at the BOC agent today and got signed up for an account, used to have one but that was years ago before I went with Air Products and seems they delete them after a while of no purchases.
Anyway if I heard the guy right I am getting quite a bit off the list price for a refill and also rental is cheaper as well. When he said the prices I asked to make sure it was the E33 cylinder (33l 300bar) as it sounded cheap and he said it was.
Will now have to wait and see what it actually is when I get charged and see if I misheard
