I've always made do with the small compressor about 20 litre? that i've had for years,
As i dont earn my living with it i simply wait for it to pump up and get on with something else,
Recently bought a plasma cutter so knew i'd have to rectify the low air supply,
Perfect timing as a mate was chucking out a 200litre compressor that was shagged with only the tank salvageable,
Broke it down to bare tank and blanked off one of the top holes and used the remaining hole in the top as the feed in from the small compressor,
Made a couple of spacer brackets to raise the tank for storage underneath,
Added a water trap/regulator,
Total cost about a tenner for a 220 litre air supply
The downside is it takes forever to refill with the small pump.
