Little star mk 2

Hi to all the reader.

This time is another star, made as per suggestions read here for the star mk1.

Instead of 1000 pieces, I made it with only 5, and a nice bit of grinding.
Now it is in the painting area.

The star was hard to ignite, so I added alcool to the photos.

A right faff to make with the interlacing.
I have one in my front room for scaring visitors, my elderly loved it and had to show her friends the Satanist next door.
it had sat around my workshop for a few years and I wanted something to fill a wall.
Goes perfectly with the colour.
Plan A is to have a collection of cryptic signs around the house.
maybe Eye of Horus next, can anybody suggest any others.

What thickness is the metal in yours?
Mine is 4mm.
For the next I will drop down to 2mm , thus avoiding the grinding step.

Sad to mine is 25x3mm.
I bet on your scale there was some violence getting the bits lined up.

Yep.
Both of them. I use mannequins as moulds to lay the rings out. Slow work.

I did a pagan star for the nextdoor neighbour that hangs on the front of the house,thought i had a pic,so one will show up here tomorrow.
Funny thing is,since it went up over a year ago we never get any religious freaks walk up our shared path any more
