Lithium Iron V's Lead acid.....

I have a Honda 13HP engined generator.....
It always starts but if I have to pull the cord more than say 4 times I'm Knackered.....
I dont have the strength in my arms, age and Athritus.....
So the electric starter kit has just arrived....
it has a battery charging coil now....
My question,
I scrapped an electric scooter that has 4 good Lith Iron batteries...sized like a ride on mower or average m/cycle batt....
To save 40-50 euros can I use one of the above batteries or just go and buy a new Lead acid.....
It's not the cost per say....
it's wether the charge coil will accept the Lith battery, I dont want a battery fire or burn out the new coil...
Asking coz some newer type battery chargers now have a select button that charges diff types of battery...Ta....

Depends if your lithium batteries have the controller built in or if it was part of the scooter?.

Milwaulkee M12 lithium don't have a buit in controller for example .

I was going to buy a Lithium iron battery to replace the lead acid leisure battery in the van but the charger set up was more expensive than the battery.
