Mint is ok and Id probably go for that if I didn't like Suse more

I got given an old laptop last week, appears to have hardly been used but battery knackered. Runs off mains adapter, It was running windows 8 & was password protected. Now its been wiped & linux mint installed. Early days yet but seems to work ok & so far i like it!

My 2012 panasonic toughbook was properly, painfully slow with windows 10, even with a new ssd drive and fresh windows install, I still have windows available as dual boot, but i rarely suffer it!
I use Ubuntu, and the laptop actually runs pretty fast for its age!
