If tiles go on floors and walls,?Where is the harm in tile-ish materials doing the same? I would go for one sheet per wall though or not at all.

That's like saying carpets OK on the walls or vinyl wall paper is OK on the floor or laminate flooring is OK on the ceiling.

i actually think laminate flooring(specially the antique or rustic finishes)would look quite good on a ceiling..!wallpaper on a floor hmmmm tread carefully..!
