Hot Start/ Arc Force Control.
Hey folks.
I'm fed up trawling the net looking for answers, so i'll ask here.
I've got a Lincoln Invertec v200s inverter. It has 2 adjustments:- amps and arc force.
How do I adjust the arc force appropriately?
I know if I turn it full up it gives a really splattery weld pool that explodes and has no penetration, and if I turn it down... the machine welds lovely...
I want to put a tig torch onto the set, but don't have a scooby what to do with the arc force with the tig. I'd really like to avoid burning out the tungsten or getting a crappy unusable weldpool cos I don't know how to adjust the thing!
All suggestions and knowledge gratefully received

I should mention it's an old machine, no lift tig, it's scratch start, no switch for mma/tig mode. Just the two controls as above.
