limescale

ive got a set of taps in me bathroom, there the ceramic washer type and there crap

i managed to get a very nice second hand set today with trad tap washers in, trouble is there lots of scale on them

any ideas how to get rid of this stuff other than buying limescale remover??

Citric acid might do it, I shall know soon, got a stainless dish to de-scale. Suppose lemon juice would prob do the taps?

Any mild acid will do it, one smells nice, one will prob make you feel like popping out to the chippy, can't lose
