Toyota Corolla-I had a need to take pads out and file the metal around them because they were an extremely tight fit.
I made a good job with the file, checking the fit every so often while filing. Before refitting I greased the metal surfaces. I pushed the piston in on one side using a small G lamp. Checked fluid which was ok and not overflowing
I went to test the car noticed that the red battery light was on and also the fluid reservoir light. When I came to brake while going down an incline both of these dash board lights went out. I assumed all was ok. However, they both came back on within a few minutes while driving and remain on.
What could be the reason?
