Of all the automotive electrical test equipment I have, something simple is sometimes best!
I wanted to quickly confirm what fuse in the car powered a circuit I was working on. So I need an in line test light. Surprisingly there are very few items like this on the usual sites. At least for a fair price.
So - I cut a cheapie bannana lead and soldered it to a 12v orange indicator bulb. With a croc clip one end and bannana plug on the other I can back probe, pierce or clip the other end.

Really easy, fast fuse confirmation. Just pull fuses until the bulb goes out.
This will prove very useful.
