I'd heard prices had dipped a bit over the last couple of weeks. China finished off the Olympic stadium so doesn't need any more steel. Or speculators getting out as they couldn't make the price shoot up further. Something like that. Still very worth a couple of quotes at the moment.
I bet they build our Olympic stadium out of scrap, without melting it down first.

I'll bet we don't see new steel prices drop so sharply, just been quoted £135+vat for one 6m length of 60x60x6 stainless angle .
