In local lidl right now, only basic tools/drill/table saw/fireplace hoover and nothing more..Ironically enough, after starting the thread to give you all a heads up on these my local Lidl had none of the metalwork related stuff in at all!
Didn't need any of it anyway but it's nice to at least be able to see it in person!
Uk definitely had it, got mine last week in West Yorkshire. Here's a video of the new one with the integrated compressor. Black is the new green, it seems.
Maybe UK won't get this. I had to buy my Parkside inverter MIG in Ireland.
A bit annoying that it’s available in some parts of the U.K. but not in others, but I guess if they get enough emails they might be persuaded.Thank you for your interest in the above-mentioned product.

It was just on the shelf, no price labels or anything and it was not advertised. Doubt there will be any left now though. They don’t seem to be listed on the website. Did you just find yours in store, @Greg05 ? Might have to take a trip out tomorrow. These look like excellent VFM.
Well that video sold it for me and the deep teardown video from advanced engineering was very good incase you have any issues after the 3 yr warrenty .Here's a video of the new one with the integrated compressor. Black is the new green, it seems.

Thanks. Although the price does seem to be a heck of a lot more than I remember from the last time they had them (around £80???).Just had alook on website and showing available from 17th feb in scotland and maybe england and wales as well.
These have a built in compressor. I'm thinking about it but have a compressor so might be better to wait for the cheaper one? Thanks. Although the price does seem to be a heck of a lot more than I remember from the last time they had them (around £80???).
This one? Interesting theres not that much in them. The compressor would be better called an air pump, doubt it will last 5 minutes as its mostly nylon.Well that video sold it for me and the deep teardown video from advanced engineering was very good incase you have any issues after the 3 yr warrenty .
Yes thats the video. Hopefully the 3yr warrenty should at the very least cover the purchace price if it wen't bad as no doubt if the compressor go's you won't be able to get a replacement. There were non in lidl dumfries this afternoon not that i thought there would but i went in just in case as not all specials arrive ,hopefully on the 17th they will be there. This one? Does the torch have a valve or solenoid of any kind? Looks like it doesnt, so using an external compressor would be wasting a lot of air between cuts?
Yes i thought that but they now have the built in compressor which will make it more portable if you doing a job where no air is available. I have a job coming up in 4 weeks time were a 9" angle grinder was going to be the only option to me and something i was not looking forward due to the amount of cutting ,now the plasma will get a good tryout. Also from early reports on the previous model sold in the UK i think this is up on power and possibly it's got upgraded internals.Thanks. Although the price does seem to be a heck of a lot more than I remember from the last time they had them (around £80???).

Post #19, I was thinking the same.
