I always used Dronco thin cutting discs as they are top quality & I had a local supplier. Then the shop switched to Bosch discs as the Droncos had got too expensive. Unfortunately the Bosch discs were rubbish & just turned to dust without cutting anything!
I bought a box of the Parkside discs in Lidl to try out & they were very good. Nearly as good as the Droncos & half the price. Every time they are in Lidl I buy a few boxes, they work out at just 33p each!
The only downside is that they are for a 5" grinder but they do fit all my 4.5" grinders & are the correct speed rating.
Ages ago I bought a air saw that uses the 3" discs & yesterday I got some of those discs in Lidl to try out. They are every bit as good as the 5" ones so I'll be back in tomorrow to get a few boxes.

They also had some Parkside Performance Cutting discs, touted as being better in every way, so I got a box to try them - what a revelation! I did a back to back test with a std Lidl disc & a Performance disc in 2 identical grinders, cutting through some 6mm steel.
The Performance discs are simply better in every way. They eat through the steel 2x as quickly, don't bog down the grinder & less burrs on the back of the cut. They also claim less dust & sparks - I didn't notice much difference but the speed of cut was amazing.
Look how clean that cut is, that's as I cut it without grinding off any burrs!
Needless to say I'll be stocking up on these as well! They cost a bit more @ 83p a disc but they come in a nice plastic protective case of 6 discs, perfect for a tool case.
They don't appear on the current leaflet but they had some in my local store, beside the 3" discs, here's a link to a reseller on Amazon with a hiked up price!
