I have no problem lying in bed or anywhere else looking up, as soon as I get under a car and start working looking up I get dizzy and feel sick - weird !

Yep exactly the same here, and the sweat pours off me! Methinks it's old age

I've never had much joy with these in a domestic setting. Many jobs take longer to get the car onto and off the axle stands than doing the actual job. Having to lift it the extra 150mm is beyond the lift of any jack I've ever owned, so end up messing about with blocks of wood and multiple lifts!
Tedious - quicker, easier and safer to do the shoulder blade shuffle. I do have floor covering though so might be a different story working on cold damp concrete.

I saw a “creeper thing” that was a like tube of material. Thought it might of been good on a gravel drive

I have a creeper, but tend to use a large bit of cardboard & chuck it out when it gets dirty. The shops are glad to get rid of the big cartons & flattened out the two layers are ideal.

I've had a creeper for years, but never actually "crept" on it have found it useful for moving big stuff like land Rover axles around.

It looks like the ideal seat for car polishing/detailing etc but then it has to be stored somewhere...

You forgot to mention the part where your hair get pinched by the bolts and ripped out when you move your head

On a serious note I picked an Aldi version of these up last year for £12.99 in the clearance section of a local store.

I used it once to maneuver myself under my lathe to fit the link belt and the rest of the time its used a s a stool. Good bit of kit

Aye, but there's a fly in the ointment.....no garage .

I have the Aldi version, it has been great for short stints working on my boat trailer as I am struggling to walk just now, so have been wheeling myself about on the creeper/seat with an angle grinder. Much easier than from a wheelchair......
