Expensive battery to cheap tool? I appreciate the fun of the challenge, but as the batteries for Lidl stuff are cheap, I don't get it?

Same here https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-cew1000-electric-impact-wrench/ feels more powerful than the quoted 450nm, way better than my basic sealey air gun

it was defeated once, same wheel nut that I broke a decent half inch breaker bar on

ive got one its done me well on a few jobs ive got a dewalt 3/8 that i use for mowers and cycles but it will take off a mower blade that has been tightened up right if not or not been removed for a while it wont do it hence the clark a plug in quick wizz its off (i do have air gun 1/2 inch as well and get it out if ive got a few nuts to do )

the other reason i got it for if im working on my car and got a stuborn nut its easyer to run an extension lead to use the clark than try getting 15 meters of hose out and if a nut on a gate i need to remove i can still do it

Gets the old grey matter working, keeps my CAD skills up and it's fun. Plus I don't want the aggro of another charging system and associated batteries.

For stuff I'm not going to use a lot, it works for me. My Makita to Einhell chainsaw works a treat for instance.

A case of can I rather than should I a lot of the time!
