Diesel wasnt mentioned…twas an ASHP….now I live a tad more rural than Morrisman, he actually has neighbours. We have a sewage treatment plant to comply with the latest rules for septic type tanks close to a water corse. Its got a poxy little vane type compressor that runs 24 7. Dont hear it in the house but its quite noticeable in the still of the night. Then if the holiday cottage system boiler in a box cuts in youd certainly hear that through an open window.

Diesel?? It’s a house air heat source heater on a bungalow.
