Can some body please help with me try and to get to grips with using gas lens as iv never used them before and now iv got a proper set I want to get the most out of it.
My problem seems to be when ever I first strike a arc for the first 1 to 2 seconds its like iv got no gas flowing. Changing out to a normal ceramic with out changing my flow meter from 15 lpm and we are fine and all this is with 2 seconds post gas on 3mm steel at 45 amps on BOC pureshield.
Have I got a duff lens iv tried 2 different sizes is it the quality (SWP) if so what is a better brand ?
Next up while I think about it iv made a cordless tungsten grinder out of a dermal and a diamond wheel that saves loads of time. Iv machined it at 4 angles for grinding at 5' steps from 15' round to 35' witch I use for steels but when grinding iv been told the dust its a bit of a killer and I should only use it with dust extraction is this true I cant see any difference over a bench grinder my self.
Got loads more but 1 or 2 things at a time I think
