Yes seamless, called drawn over mandrel by the Americans has no welded joint, often called CDS here, cold drawn seamless. Or CFS cold formed seamless, but wall thickness varies as it does with pipe. You need to watch the heat treatment though, if its hydraulic tube it will be annealed so will be more workable for bending. But in 30mm lengths cant see it making much difference for you.Does the cold drawn stuff typically have a thicker wall than ERW? I take it "seamless" does what it says on the tin? I.e there's no weld seam running the length inside?
For what your proposing Id go to some where with pipe and tube, pick one the looks right and buy it, modify the design to suit the chosen size, if I didnt have access to a lathe.
But I shall point out, your a metal worker, you should treat yourself to a lathe. You know you want too!
