The most important thing with a LiFePO4 battery is not to charge them when the temp is below 0C. To be safe I would say only charge above say 5C. They will OPERATE in much colder conditions - just dont charge them when so cold.I had assumed that, on the basis that we have a large number of mobile carts in work with a std 12V LiFePO4 battery and they are all charged from a std 12V battery charger
The better BMS have a thermocouple to stop you but sometimes they are not connected so better safe than sorry.
