I can't imagine the undertaking on freeways helps, even though its not actually legal across all of the US - seen a good few "phew" moments.I've worked in the U.S. for more than 30 years (sometimes a week at a time, sometimes several months) and it always amazed me at how poor the driving is in the U.S., and how many traffic accidents there are.
When I worked in Utah there would be a fatality reported pretty much every day on the news and it was rare that I didn't pass a shunt on my 40 minute commute to and from work.
So I can imagine that the blood and guts for a state trooper was far more plentiful than we see here in the UK
I looked again and noticed something on my trailer, 4no brake cables

Look at that rust too being only a few years old! I'll need to get to painting it at some stage.
Ha Ha
Well at least they didn't stitch me up! As I specifically insisted on a road legal trailer.
It seems like most of their customers wanted the cheap, used axle version of the same trailer! So they were almost confused why I wanted to pay for a road legal one when I don't have a business etc.
It made sense to me to get a proper one and that if trailer tests for domestic stuff becomes law in future at least I have something that is actually fit for purpose and has a VIN etc.
I was going to post a question on the forum asking if anyone was an expert in planning regs but thought there wouldn't be anyNot trailers unfortunately. I am however an expert in Building Control & Planning regulations in the construction industry. Including interpretation, alternative compliance and expert witness. (Hence I get tortured every day and I come here for relief!!)
I already said too muchI was going to post a question on the forum asking if anyone was an expert in planning regs but thought there wouldn't be any

Rebel without acauseclue.
Yes that one was explained to me by a bloke I met at a show with a pre WW1 roadster, forget the make now. Having brakes on the front wheels was considered dangerous until 1925 or so
