Well the ones that failed are the ones I leave on all night. I leave a strip of 3 on and 2 of them have gone so far.

I fit 20in someone's house and there left on most of the time in a kitchen / a decent make robus.out of them 5 have gone and I get them replaced free 2 year warranty . there still getting better every year new technology

a couple of years ago city bought literlaly thousands from china that were a joke . I bought 60 and out of them they all went after a couple of month
some just days

they're on about 12 hours a day 7 days a week, all still perfect so far (6 months for most of them, 18 months for others)
they are a bit cheapy when you look closely at them, but at the same time I've sent that link to about 10 people now who've seen them and wanted some themselvs
it's well worth getting the milky covers for them - they are brighter with the clear covers... but then they blind you if you look directly at them
I wasn't expecting much when I bought the first one to test, so I left it on 24/7 for a month, it was still perfect at the end so I put it on a timer, 5min on, 5min off... then forgot about it so it had about 6 weeks like that... still running perfect
I've replaced tin 6ft fluorescent fittings and a single one of those 6ft from ebay is about equal in light output (1led = 2 tubes)

I'd be very wary about Led lights from ebay - even though the same seller has been listing the same units for a couple of years doesnt mean they are the same manufacturer and quality.
My experience of Led's from the bay is some failed within days and the rest didnt last a year. I've also discovered if the seller isnt bothered neither are Ebay / PayPal once 180 days has passed.
The most successful ones I've bought are 4 600x600 flat panels but I've still had to replace two drivers in 18 months of occasional use.
Now I buy branded lights from Screwfix or Toolstation, some are approaching 2 years old and all still work.

Ive just done this in my workshop , the light is better , daylight led , 22 x 6 ft tubes cost £240 , they came with a replacement for the starter , they come straight on as well instead of all that flashing and the light is instant , worth doing

I bought about thirty of these a while ago and didnt like the look of them, a sparky mate had a few days spare and I need some light in my storage containers so got him to fit them. I've decided to try out some twin led tube fittings...arrived this week. Haven't fitted them yet but the cases look descent enough. £80 for 2x4foot twins...with 4 led tubes.
On their web site they said led tubes not included....turns out regular tubes are included....dunno what that's all about
