led on a stick

trying to find a v/bright LED on the end of a simple bendy stick..
best if it were around 6-8mm dia....lenght not important......
have looked on the bay without luck....
alo can anyone recomend a headlamp torch, needs to be v/bright, without a battery pack for the occaisional use....

I made one from scrap:

coat hanger wire, led on long cable, heat shrink.

the coat hanger wire provides the bendiness, the heat shrink holds it all together.

When I wanted a light on a stick the first thing I tried was soldering some wires to a stop light
bulb and pulling the wires though a bit of locline. It worked pretty well.
