All the new fittings i buy seem to be ES with a few SES. So about half of my house is bayonet and the rest ES!

ive had the 8 gu10 led in my kitchen for the last 8 years none gone yet
They were only ever a UK non professional fitting.
There is a funny story about when Andy Earl went out to shoot the cover photo for Pink Floyd's Delicate Sound of Thunder album cover. He got stopped at Spanish customs with 150 bayonet lamps and asked what was going on. He tried to explain, and the customs officials said "no, no, no, screw in".
