BTW in the pic of the gauntlet above you may notice I didn't have quite enough leather, had to patch a wee bit in on the pinky

My box of tools and leather pieces arrived. I'd ordered a single 500g bag and they threw another one in free! Pieces are roughly A4 in size, so ideal for the small projects I want to start with, or a leather Silence of the Lambs type of suit.

I'm waiting on a cutting mat arriving from Amazon before I start.

I repaired my leather sofa that had a huge wear rip in it and was very pleased with the result /outcome, have thrown them before when ripped or replaced the whole panel, I didnt realise you could patch and fill it sand it down and stain !!
dogs are jumping on it all day coz it is under the bay window and it stands it fine !!
