Leather trouser belt makers?

Has anyone got any recommendations?

I'm looking for a good quality 2" black leather belt made of a single thick length of leather rather than two bits glued together. Apart from holding my trousers up I also have to carry bits and bats on my belt and I'm sick of the cheap issued stuff rolling up and generally making me look like a sack of spuds tied with string.

Just get some leather dye and dye it black

Edit: They're double buckled and pretty good, had mine ages and it's still going strong after a year of heavy abuse...

I can't say I've ever noticed anything other than webbing belts in the local one, I'll have a look at the online suppliers.

It doesn't apply to belts



Stihl and Husqvarna won't allow sales of saws to anyone online, unless your a previous customer of the company

i have a leather belt made by dickies and i swear by it.

i wear it everyday (literally)

i was in your position a few years ago where i couldnt find a good belt until i bought this one.

its about 2-3 years old now and still looks like new. the hole i use is a bit elongated thats all (ohhh errr missis)

i bought it in halfords for about 8 quid with my trade card.

Might be worth looking at saddlers and gun belts. I have a ballistic nylon one that holds it's shape when removed, used carry all my kit when on rescue ambulance.

Aye I've got the brown stihl belt making up a tool belt, doesnt get a huge amount of use but I've had it about 6 years and it's been soaking wet many times
