- Nissan Leaf - had one teething issue with the inverter in the car, just coming up to a year old and its comfortable, fast, cheap to run, quiet and if the missus had seen the low wall rather than scraping 4 panels, then it would be low hassle too, no further issues.
Sends a cold shiver down my spine that one i know they are the supposedly the future but even still.
Cant go wrong with an ex army landy as there is nothing to break.
Still maintain that most older land rovers reliablity issues are down to careless, thoughtless operaters and owners that think i have bought a big tough 4x4 i expect to be able to endlessly abuse it and ignore the maintenace and it should be fine as its a big tough 4x4.
( Edit)
One of my mates whos dad had one when he was young said everything superfluous to its the landys function was guarantee to break but nothing generally that would impead its function of getting you from a to b, that and love is all you buy a landy for it aint about comfort or style (except nowadays).
