While a spreadsheet cannot be the final solution...if you could prototype it in a spreadsheet so the calculations are understood someone may be able to convert that easier to JS or something.
I'm probably of no use because I didn't do Windows nor JS.
I was trying to follow along the required calculations from your previous post and apply in Google Sheets with imperial user input and converting that. However, I got lost at waste and strips calculations.
Rough example (green cells are user input; grey are calculations):
