Looking for some advice from the tech gurus, I want to have a go at writing a app to calculate the sizes that the operators at need to enter into the machine for different jobs.
I find it reasonably simple to work out but the sizes have to be entered in inches and 96th’s. Given that younger operators are coming from school not knowing what an inch is or how many 8th’s there are in one it’s becoming increasingly difficult.
So what I need to build is a simple app ware the operator can enter the two known dimensions and the numbers to enter into the machine are calculated.
The first question I have what software would be best and simplest to use, the app will mainly be used on windows but would be handy if it could be used across platforms?
