anyone uesd elite welding ?
they quote
the initial payment is £103.37 which consists of
£44.99 + vat 3 years right of use charge
£22.50 + vat for gas in cylinder
£25.75 returnable deposit (no vat)
when you want to exchange cylinders you pay £22.50 for the gas
no delivery charge if you are on our regular round
is this reasonable?

For metal, try B & M engineers Sandford Lane in Kennington, if you are in Oxford you should know where that is. mostly black but have odd bits of non ferrous & stainless, good selection of off cuts. Not sure on gas still looking myself.
