Welded some brackets in the garage for a cable reel. Some of the metal was a bit rusty, but cleaned it up and all seemed fine.
The tip? Oh yes - if you use a G-clamp to hold the bits together make sure you don't acidentally weld the damn thing to the job
The screw part was a bit close to the edge of the metal and got caught. The F word and a hammer managed to free it in the end - it wasn't a sloid weld, more of a spot weld.
