Have been looking at Paton machinesYou can get a Paton 200 pulse mig for your budget, they seem to be a popular model but I haven’t had any experience myself, only reading what has been reviewed and pushed on this forum.
All depends on whether you want new or used, then whether you want a transformer or inverter.
Jasic migs sometimes come up fairly cheaply (I like my tig), as do others. Then there’s Oxford / tecarc transformer migs that quite often appear second hand for a lot less than your budget. I’ve got a tecarc 251 and would have had change from your budget if I had to buy gas, wire and a new torch.
Iv had an r tech plasma cutter, it had to go back twice in a year so not to keen on them.

I have the Paton 250 power supply and wire feed...they also sell an all in one too. I've only used it for MMA so far but very happy with it.Have been looking at Paton machines
The fault is down to the manufacturing so the fact that you can send it back is surely a good thing.Iv had an r tech plasma cutter, it had to go back twice in a year so not to keen on them.
I think mine had to go back once, but it was returned within a couple of days.Iv had an r tech plasma cutter, it had to go back twice in a year so not to keen on them.
