My old Mankey Monkey trike had 10” of trail, rode dead straight, never wiggled, but needed a lot of work to get it round corners. To reduce the trail I’d have had to shove the axle way further forward, or cut the rake down. It was also hardtail, which was awful on the local roads. Rather than modify it immensely I sold it and that was what started the Chevy trike idea rolling.Rake and trail, low speed steering wobble, yes all interacting and not guaranteed to fix the issue. Leading links are, pretty much, so that is the way I'm going. The trike will keep its length, so not look like its been in a front end accident - sure, leading links aren't pretty, but they work.
