Any recommendations on a lazy tongs pop rivet gun. Want something that you can get new internal spares for. The Screwfix one for £40 looks too good to be true.

500 in one day at one place I worked at.Fellas, have they done any serious work.
Got the same ones Gordon, also got a pair of genuine tucker plier type pop riveters, first class quality, tuckers made pop rivets too.Mine are genuine Tucker lazy tongs, Had them years, Never needed any spares.
Do not buy Silverline Lazy tongs, i had a need for some for one mast job. They pulled just one 1/8" rivet before they broke & i threw them in the skip.
I would as well, if you have many to do, makes life so easy. I’ve got a set of Faithful Tools lazytongs that I bought for a fiver brand new out of a clearance bin, look reasonable quality, but I’ve never used them!I would always us an air riveter if you have a compressor - they also do nice cordless ones now.
You seem to have a glut of surplus tools.I would as well, if you have many to do, makes life so easy. I’ve got a set of Faithful Tools lazytongs that I bought for a fiver brand new out of a clearance bin, look reasonable quality, but I’ve never used them!
But I might need them sometime........You seem to have a glut of surplus tools.
You should donate to a needy Ardvark.
Who will invest time and effort.
Then donate to those who do need tools.
Hi Gordon we're ok thanks, was round his house the other day, to pick up some gear he had for me George Tucker riveting tools are excellent quality,I also have a large lever type about a foot long with 2 parallel arms, was with Alan at an autojumble once & bought a big box of pop rivets off a dealer,he didn't know it but I did, they're stainless steel,[take a bit of setting] repaired the "chinamans hat" on the rayburn stovepipe, the originals were alloy & corroded & it blew off,,no bother now with the stainless ones!! take care Gordon, snow forcast soon!! your a bit higher than us!! so you'll get it worse, just ordered 6 bags of "blue flame" for the rayburn.Hello, Graham, I asked Alan how you were doing just a couple of days ago, Stay safe. Back to the Tucker rivet gear, I also have an early "normal" hand rivet gun, It's all brass/or bronze, Never seen another.
