Is that a contactor or switch? If it's a contactor then is that one end of the coil? (The other end will be the other small screw in between L1 and L2.)
The main power will come down from A B and C but it will also have its own small control circuit which energises the contactor.

Blown fuses 160a on machine and 250a ish back at the the switch room. Dust fell down from overhead, the lights dimmed and office staff came out to see if a bomb had gone off.
the machine next to it was in production and it tripped that too. Took the operators about 3 hours to start up again - oops.
