Dumb question, but...
I have this Hobbymat MD65 lathe and have used it for years to make small bits for vintage cars. The tools are all somewhat worn and I was thinking of buying some new ones plus a knurling tool.
How do you measure the 'size' of a lathe tool in order to work out which sizes to purchase? Is it the dimension from the bottom face of the tool to the height of the tip (non-adjustable toolpost) or the max size that will slot into the toolpost?
Alternatively, does anyone have something suitable to sell?
RDG tools sell plenty of tools on Ebay and I was thinking of getting them from there, once I've got an answer to my dumb question. Please be gentle with me.
