They sit on a frame or chassis with heavy adjustable feet.....this is so I can move em with a pallet truck....

I am going to have 2 metal plates cut from 8mm and then for those under the cabinets using the holes already there, if I make them about 50mm bigger all round I can make new bolt holes, atmleast then I can take the bolts out and skid the lathe out to access the fluid pump at the back and give the rear a clan out.Snap! have the same lathe, good little unit for turning,
Looks like you have better quality DRO,
Are you going to bolt yours down? i haven't bothered as floor is pretty flat.
Enjoy using it.
I think you did real good sir.Due to poor health I have only just got my lathe in place, I think it's been about 6 months since it was placed in the garage and I've just managed to move it about 15 feet![]()
Well spotted, it does need a shove to the leftId suggest moving it a bit further left, so you have space for operating the tailstock on a long job
I was told it weighed 650kg so I had 4 shreaded wheatI think you did real good sir.
That's not a bench lathe, it's much heavier.
Same here, didn't stop me buying a Boxford STS. I've mainly made swarf.
