Lathe Covers in Lidl

Lidl have plastic motorbike covers in that are perfect for a small lathe. I have one on my Myford ML7 but there is plenty of room for a larger lathe.

It has been successful in helping to stop the lathe rusting in my damp workshop. I know it works because someone (not me) was being nosy & was looking at my lathe but didn't replace the cover properly. The exposed part of the lathe had some surface rust by the time I noticed the cover was off!

Looks like just in NI. Had family members sourcing bits (power bank) for me from Lidl today and if they'd been shown on the UK offers page I'd have got one. Looks like only the car cover here (unless someone else who can visit a store knows differently).

Only car covers in GB. They do have oil suckie pumps though to do an oil change through the dipstick tube. I'm not recommending, just pointing them out

shame they dont do taller ones . I have been looking for a cover for my running machine as its outside now.
All the ones I can find on ebay are for non foldable machines..

Have a look at barbeque covers, they come in all sorts of sizes, I got one to cover a pump as it had to live outside for a bit and was well over 40" tall

Thats nice. Sadly even the foldable covers seem to expect you to leave them down. Nothing I can find is 6 foot high.
Apart from that Ebay is driving me insane now. Cant buy locally as China has driven everyone out of business BUT you cant even excluse China from search results as they pretend to be in the UK. AND on top of that they ALL offer a 99pence item to get to the cheapest...even the damn closest does not get decent results

M Putt in Dagenham will make you a cover for anything. They're good too. Been using them over 30 years.
