oh and cheap!
We are re-purposing part of the garden that has been dog free and will need to become dog-friendly! The problem is that I have 8m of fence, alongside which runs a blue water pipe, plastic conduit (with mains cables, network cables and low voltage cables inside) and steel armoured cable (2 core).
The first two will easily succumb to Clumber jaws, the latter may be OK, but will certainly slow them down!
So what i want to do is somehow protect them. They are in situ, so whatever I do has to work around them.
My first idea was a storm drain, that would work, but not cheap as I need 8m of it, so being a cheapskate - I was wondering is the Welding Forum Brains Trust had some other ideas (or 8m of cheap storm drain :-)

, can you not just bury it deeper ? the cable conduit not the dog..
.. thinking there may be enough slack to gain a wee bit of depth..
