The last Ariane 5 went off yesterday. The European space agency ESA is still a long way off making Ariane 6. As they won't fly on Russian rockets now, looks like it's going to be good times for Elon and SpaceX 
. They launched some form of 3-D sky-mapping satellite for ESA last week on a Falcon 9. I like Elon, though he seems to do crazy things every so often.
